Brooklands is a double storey cottage with two lounges and 4 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. Each room has either a queen or King size bed in it. There are two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs.The upstairs lounge also has two bunk beds & mattresses. This mean that you can have 8 adults and 6 kids staying at anyone time!
Having nice en suite bathrooms in every room does make a difference to your holiday.
Each bathroom has both a shower and a bath except one (shower only). They are finished off with ceramic tiles, wood and aluminum.
When it comes to Drakensberg self catering accommodation, Brooklands is the true berg experience. Without the crowds and noise, you experience something quite unique which tends to recharge the body.
The Kitchen is fully fitted out with everything you need and more… just bring your food and drinks. We now have a large 6plate gas & electric stove and oven. Double door fridge as well as a tall glass drinks fridge. Abundant cookware and cutlery. The open plan with fireplace and Pool table makes it a perfect place to gather together and spend some quality time!
What is great is that you have the whole place just to yourselves and all the facilities (including the jacuzzi, the dams, boats etc) are exclusively yours to use.
The upstairs lounge has lots of games and DSTV just in case you did not want to miss your favorite program or sports event.

Enjoy breakfast, lunch and supper on our large pine table outside. The children will love the colour table and chairs and you will definetly enjoy the cushioned sun lounges. We have a webber and a drum braai. We also have a bonfire pit where you can throw over a grid and enjoy a braai or toast marshmallows. .
Indulge in our jacuzzi with a view which heats up nicely due to its new heat pump.
Two dams that are stocked with trout. Bring your own rods and give it a go.
The dams are also ideal for boating and we have a selection of row boats, canoes and mini kayaks for the kids.
Then there is the hiking from Brooklands.
There are some amazing trails directly from our cottage. Some walks are only a few hundred meters down to the river, while others are 3km to beautiful pools and bushman paintings.
